Today, over 70 million people are displaced as a result of conflict, violence, persecution, and human rights violations. Half of them are children.In Rotary Foundation Month, and when parts of the world are again plunged into the despair of conflict, we are reminded that a core purpose of Rotary is to promote peace, in our lives at home and work, in our community and in the world.
