The annual seven-day ROCAN cycling event is in Tasmania this year from 2nd – 8th March 2024. Rotarians Mark Ellis and Thelma Hutchison and Non-Rotarian, but significant other Andrew Rothfield, will challenge themselves to complete the short course (700kms in 7 days). (Note: the long course is 1,000kms in 7 days designed for the younger, fitter, and faster cyclists in the group). This event was founded by the Rotary Club of Williamstown and has been running for twenty years, raising funds to increase community awareness of ovarian cancer, and to support research for an early screening test for the disease.
