The first Rotary meeting in Australia and New Zealand was in 1921 with the formation of the Rotary Club of Melbourne, established with the assistance of Charter Member and later Club President (1922-23), celebrated Australian, Commander of the Australia Corps 1918 and hero of the Great War, General Sir John Monash GCMG, KCB, VD. From little things, big things grow.
