Polio
For those who were there, what a fantastic talk by Murray Verso about the incidence of polio and the Rotary response to it. World Polio Day has been and gone but there is always the option of joining the Polio Plus Society. Look online or talk to Joanne Shentu.
SEP Function
The Sumba Event is fast approaching, and tickets are selling fast for the event on 22nd November. This is probably the major event for the year so don’t miss out.
Regionalisation
As a flow on from the Regionalisation Pilot Scheme, the Presidents from our Community Group of 15 Clubs are going to catch up at the Auburn Hotel. I suspect it will be an informal gathering, but I will report back.

Defibrillator training
As most members are aware, the Club has acquired a defibrillator, with the assistance of Bendigo Bank, to keep at the Farmers Market. At our meeting on 29th October, our member Charles Tran, wearing his St Johns Ambulance persona will train our members with the assistance of Paul Shekleton. Promises to be a not to be missed evening.

Club Clothing
Many thanks to Foundation member Ian Dobson for supplying new club clothing of great quality and at a terrific price.

Education Chances Foundation
A reminder that the ECF Function is being held on Wednesday 8 November.
