Hello all. I hope you have all found a way to deal with the heat, perhaps the last fierce expression of summer?
I thought to summarise to all members this week our new meeting arrangements. We are now normally meeting at Kooyong on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesday of each month. The normal dinner is what Kooyong calls the Chef’s special main course followed by the nibbly cakes we have been having in the past. Once per month we will have what Kooyong calls a Pasta/Risotto meal, also followed by nibbly cakes. Please also note that once you have booked, Kooyong is unable to offer a refund if you cannot attend.

Don’t forget that this Tuesday 12th is the always delightful fellowship BBQ on the terrace to which many partners are always attending.

If any members are missing a get-together on the 3rd Tues, they can arrange or encourage committee meetings or just send an email to all members, suggesting a pub at which some might want to gather and chat.
