Hello Glenferrie club members and welcome to another week and month in Rotary.
We do have such an active, vibrant and welcoming club and of course we want to continue and grow that dynamism.
I would like to encourage all members to join in the pleasures of getting involved beyond the weekly dinners. Joanne has just updated us that Oxana, Wendy and Maria have taken on tasks as part of their membership in club service; well done ladies.
Of course, many/most of our club members are already actively contributing, some to extraordinary extents, and I know that they enjoy the fellowship that results from this involvement. For new members or any members who might be hesitant, simply touch base with a service area director or board member and you will be welcomed and enjoy the opportunities that result. Contributions don’t have to be huge; we all understand that Rotary must fit into busy work and family lives.
