According to Rotary’s research, a positive club experience is the single greatest factor in satisfaction. Ensuring club members feel welcome, included and engaged through participating in Rotary service projects and activities is crucial. Last month, we were proud that 70% of our members had participated or volunteered at the Rotary International activity, the RICON23 Melbourne.

Whilst we enjoyed the global fellowship, learning and being inspired by each other, what are your takeaways from this RICON23? My takeaway is that I want to do more service in Rotary and get involved in more Rotary International Conventions in the future.

Thank you to all members for your participation and volunteering at RICON23. In particular, thank you to Richard Blakeman and his team for organising a successful RI Club Hosting Night at KLTC. After imagining the future of Rotary in 2022-23, we will look ahead to being able to share hope with the world, by focusing on mental health and well-being next year.

RC Glenferrie Changeover 2023 will be on 20 June at KLTC. Rotarians, partners and friends are cordially invited to celebrate the end of our Rotary year and the changeover of club president from Teresa Liu to Mark Howlett. It will be an entertaining evening of celebration of the achievements of RC Glenferrie and the accomplishments of Glenferrie members. Please book your Changeover ticket now.

District 9800 Changeover 2023 will be held on Saturday, 24 June 2023, at the beautiful venue: Hyatt Place, Essendon Fields. District Governor Amanda and District Governor-elect Ron look forward to welcoming as many Districts 9800 Rotarians, partners, and friends as we come together and celebrate Rotary.
