MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH -- LIFT THE LID - Tuesday 5th October 2021
We are pleased to advise that Dr. Suresh Marcandan will be our guest speaker on this special meeting and dinner at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on 5th October 2021. Rotary Club of Glenferrie with Elizabeth Dumonic have set out to raise funds for Australian Rotary Health - Mental Health Research with a number of events in conjunction with the Boroondara Farmers Market, and culminating in this special Lift The Lid meeting.

Suresh has been a member of the Rotary Club of Melbourne since returning to live in Melbourne in May 2019. He also has a
very keen personal interest in the subject of mental health and in November 2019, made a submission to the National Productivity Commission suggesting alternate holistic therapies for dealing with mental ill-health. He is also currently a Multicultural Ambassador for the Mental Health Foundation of Australia. In March 2021, Suresh was appointed as the D9800 Chair for Australian Rotary Health and is in the process of planning a series of inclusive events to support ARH and research into mental ill-health in Victoria, in particular.It will be a great meeting with some participation of all attending, some fine entertainment, and a top-class Kooyong dinner all for $60 per ticket.
