With the end of 2021 fast approaching the Education CHANCES Foundation wishes to say thank you to the club for:

- Adding an extra market per month as from this February to bring in more revenue;
- Club members putting in the extra volunteer hours needed to conduct the extra market days;
- The significant increase in income the Foundation is receiving from club members extra efforts – approximately $20,000 per       year;
-  Further cementing the club’s position as the major on-going contributor to the Foundation’s activities over the last 10+ years.

In this year Education CHANCES has achieved the following significant milestones:

- Maintained the same level of support to students as last year resulting in the granting 133 scholarships to government secondary school students and tertiary level students who live or work in the City of Boroondara for the 2022 school/academic year;
- At the specific request of the schools involved, changed the entry year for secondary school scholarships to those starting  their secondary education rather than those about to finish their first year. This change has been made to assist them in making a positive start to their secondary education and their integration into the student body.

Please let me know if you would like any further information as this is only a snapshot of the Foundation’s activity over 2021.
