On a rather bleak autumnal morning it was pleasing to see 17 hardy souls turn up for the mundane task of picking up the detritus dumped by some of the less thoughtful citizens of Boroondara and surrounding suburbs. A special thanks to Caralyn Shekleton who, in addition to collecting rubbish, prepared a lovely BBQ for the attendees. It was wonderful to have guests, Terry Newton, Jan Palmer and Trevor Moyle lending a hand.

As usual the rubbish included a supermarket trolley but also building rubble and an old couch. Thanks also to stalwarts Ian Salek and Rob Winspear who were both recovering from recent surgery.
